Because Tweets Are Too Small For Stuff Like This...
I'd like to share with you a short paper I wrote in seminary which ended up becoming a Disciple's Guide Book to the Sermon on the Mount. It walks you through the greatest sermon given, by the greatest preacher-teacher, Jesus! The guidebook takes you through Matthew 5-7 entirely, looking at each verse carefully, and provides teaching devotionals along the way. It is meant to be both pastoral and instructive, and has been useful to people we have lead on spiritual teaching-tours through Israel. I hope it blesses you!
Here also is my own translation of the book of Ephesians. I call it, only half jokingly, Dave's International Version - Electronic Edition. (DIVE for short.) It came from my translation work, while studying at Regent College. I think it makes for an interesting take on Ephesians, and if you consider yourself a word-nerd, this is a translation for you. Key words have been color coded to draw your interest. Let me know what you think.
Next is a small touring devotional booklet I wrote up specially for the people who have come to visit my wife and i during our time in Israel (2009-2010). If you are planning on going to the Holy Land yourself, or if you are simply interested in the geography and history of Israel, this devotional will enhance any itinerary.
Many Blessings, and happy reading!
